I have to say, I’m usually not a huge fan of lots of bold color. I tend to be more of a pearls and white roses kind of girl, but there are certainly times when I can be swayed! I think that the trick to using bold color in a wedding or event is to always pair it with a simple and elegant backdrop, as demonstrated in today’s styled shoot. Shot by Meigan Canfield Photography at a Colorado farm, the styled shoot features two gorgeous and distinctive wedding gowns, beautiful vintage rentals and of course, amazing flowers by Pots & Petals. The fall foliage in the background only compliments the bold color used in the shoot, and adds such drama to the photos!
“This was my first attempt at a styled shoot, and I must say, it was one of the most memorable, important, and fulfilling experiences I have done as a wedding photographer,” said Meigan. “It was a beautiful Fall evening and everything came together very well for my first styled shoot. It was a perfect combination of contemporary elegance for brides with a homey, peaceful farm feel.”
